Introduction
 

Originally a novel, 神雕侠侣 Shendiao was written by 金庸 Louis Cha. It was the second volume of the 射雕三步曲 She Diao Trilogy by Louis Cha. Part of the story is about the members of the pugilistic world coming together to protect the country from invasion.
 
The focus of Shendiao is about a touching love story of an orphan, 杨过 Yang Guo and his beautiful mentor, 小龙女 Xiao Longnü (Dragon Girl). For the 16 years after they parted due to fate, Yang Guo having experienced countless hardships and tribulations to become an unparalleled martial fighter. He had never stopped missing Xiao Longnü and would never change his passion for her till death.
 
His feelings for Xiao Longnü perhaps is best shown by the "theme song" of the book, which goes: "What on earth is love? Love is something that makes you willing to die for your beloved".
