"Dying to Marry" is a story about the price of true love. Deepak has found the woman of his dreams, and poverty seems to be the only obstacle in their plans to marry. Just how far will he go to fulfil his longing for his bride?
Our emotions shape our lives and make us who we are. Emotions such as love, compassion, hatred, envy, sorrow, fear, greed and lust influence our decisions and actions, and thus govern our lives and character. The nine stories in this book will show how true this is.
Some stories are hard to forget, and the ones here in "Dying to Marry & Other Stories" are exactly that way. Whether the stories provoke greater self-examination or simply bring a smile to your lips, you will be glad to have picked up this book.
"I recommend the collection wholeheartedly - its observations are many and diffused, and hold important lessons for us all. The author is clearly someone who has experienced much in life and living. Through the deceptively simple narratives here encased, we as readers become so much the richer in terms of our apprehending life's myriad and oftentimes bewildering twists and turns. These stories can be read by old and young, men and women everywhere for, at bottom, they are about humans and humanity."
- Dr Kirpal Singh
